The KMVP Awards (KMVPA) offers financial support to psychiatric trainees taking MRCPsych exams. Starting from 2017, SPMM Course sponsors the following Awards.
KM-Bursaries worth of £1000 per annum (shared between 2 trainees).
VP-Scholarships worth of £1000 per annum (shared between 2 trainees).
These Funds will support deserving trainees to access SPMM revision materials required for passing the MRCPsych exam.
The three main principles of KMVP Awards are as follows:
Recognise and promote the highest level of well-rounded achievement in Psychiatry (for the Scholarship Awards)
Support trainees with financial or personal hardships to overcome (for the Bursary Awards)
Assist trainees living in low and middle income countries (Both the Scholarship and Bursary Awards will be preferentially awarded to applicants from LAMI countries)
Every year between 1st January to 21st February.
Please note that applications will not be considered outside of this time period.
